Research Interests
HIGHLY EFFICIENT AND STABLE PEROVSKITE SOLAR CELLS
We are developing solar cells using organic-inorganic hybrids, all inorganic materials, and lead-free perovskite. We are mainly conducting carrier management research using new interface engineering technology to create and commercialize perovskite solar cells with high efficiency and stability.
ORGANIC BASED PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS AND PHOTODETECTORS
Our laboratory researches organic electronic devices using organic-inorganic hybrid photoactive layers and charges transfer buffer layers. To fabricate high-efficiency organic electronic devices, we are studying the electrical characteristics of micro-interfaces using impedance techniques and the features of nanostructures that affect photoelectric conversion efficiency. We are also developing flexible organic solar cells and photodetectors using Ag transparent electrodes, flexible substrates, and novel buffer layers.
