We, Sogang Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department, extend our welcome to you and express our gratitude for your visiting.

Chemical engineering has been considered as an scientific area where researchers study how to make most economic use of energy. However, it has recently emerged as a convergence science that bridges molecular science and engineering, and extends its application to broader fields, including medicine, new material, microelectronics, new renewable energy and environment.
In accordance with the global trend, Sogang Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering provides undergraduate students with practical and comprehensive curricula that encompasses lectures and lab experiments. We also run elective courses on emerging studies, such as bio-engineering, new material, environment and energy.
After graduation, our students begin to work for not only research institutes and companies, but also universities and public organizations so that they can later grow into the leaders of society.
