Professor Lee Jong-suk, 2018 Samsung's Future Technology Promotion Project enter phase 2
Professor Lee Jong-suk research team of Chemical and Biotechnology at Sogang University, Professor Lee Jung-hyun of Chemical and Biotechnology at Korea University was selected as one of the tasks of Samsung Group's future technology promotion projects and has entered the second phase of this year. Samsung's Future Technology Promotion Program is a program to support the development of national future technologies by providing 1.5 trillion won over 10 years in three areas, including basic scienceportal technology ICT creative tasks. This task is to identify and elaborate on a natural simulation pattern that simulates a pattern of marine life in order to solve the problem of reducing water by biofaling in reverse triangle, which is used for desalination. -
Professor Lee Jong-suk's research team, develops CO2 adsorption substance in ZIF-8
Professor Lee Jong-suk's research team, Ahn Hee-sung, published a research with Dr. Baek Kyung-yeol of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology to introduce an adsorption device into the porous nanometal-ore hybrid crystal material, ZIF-8.This research result is expected to be applied to a variety of gas separation by combining it with a separate membrane material as well as an absorbent material. Professor Moon Jun-hyeok's lab, Dr. Lee Jae-hyeon, received an award at the 2018 C1 Gas Republic Symposium held by the Korea Chemical Engineering Association Professor Moon Joon-hyuk's lab Kim Chul-ho and Lee Jae-hyeon attended the 1st Gas Lippinary Symposium held by the Korea Chemical Engineering Association on July 4 to July 6, 2018. 강태욱 교수, 최정우 교수, 기계공학과 김동철 교수 연구팀, ‘독성 없는’나노인공세포 개발 성공
미래창조과학부(장관 최양희)는 “암 등 주요 질병을 치료하기 위해 약물을 전달하거나 질병 영상화를 위한 조영제 등에 사용될 수 있는 차세대 의료소재인 무(無)독성 나노인공세포*를 효율적으로 생산하는 공정을 개발했다”고 밝혔다. 연구팀은 내부에는 금속 나노입자, 외부에는 리포좀(liposome)*으로 이루어진 독이 없는 나노인공세포를 개발하였다. 리포좀 내부에서만 자동적으로 나노입자가 생성하도록 하여 별도의 분리정제 공정이 필요하지 않다. 기존 방법 대비 순도*는 약 100배 높아져 의료소재의 비용을 획기적으로 낮출 수 있게 되었다. 강태욱 교수 연구팀(서강대)은 미래창조과학부․한국연구재단 기초연구사업(개인연구) 지원 등으로 연구를 수행했으며, 이 연구는 국제적 학술지 사이언스(Science) 자매지인 사이언스 어드밴스(Science Advances) 12월 16일자에 게재되었다. o 논문명은 다음과 같다. - 논문명: General and programmable synthesis of hybrid liposome/metal nanoparticles ▷ 관련기사 http://www.dongascience.com/news.php?idx=15464 http://www.yonhapnews.co.kr/bulletin/2016/12/20/0200000000AKR20161220066800017.HTML?input=1195m *나노인공세포 : 내부에 핵과 외부에 세포막이 존재하는 인간 세포(동물세포)와 유사하게 내부에 금속 나노입자가 존재하고 이를 세포막의 구성성분인 인지질 막이 둘러싸고 있는 물질 * 리포좀 : 외부가 인지질 막으로 이루어져 있고 내부가 텅빈 구형 형태의 물질로 크기는 수십 나노미터에서 수 마이크로 미터로 다양하며, 약물전달체로 많이 사용되는 물질. 비교적 작고 중성인 분자는 리포좀 막을 통해 투과시키지만, 큰 분자나 혹은 전하를 띄는 분자는 투과시키지 않음 * 순도 : 생성물 중 원하는 나노인공세포의 비율을 의미함. 일반적으로 나노입자가 없는 리포좀, 리포좀 없는 나노입자, 그리고 리포좀으로 잘 둘러 쌓인 나노입자(즉 나노인공세포)가 생성됨. 기존연구들은 리포좀으로 잘 둘러 쌓인 나노입자가 생성되는 비율이 1% 미만임
